Natashtau: a program for Indigenous men who experienced abuse in childhood

Tailored support, designed with the community.

Natashtau is an intervention program developed by Hommes Sept-Îles based on the HASE program (men sexually abused in childhood) from CRHHY and CRIPHASE. It was adapted with caregivers and resource people from the community of Mani-Utenam, as well as with Indigenous male survivors, to support Indigenous men, particularly Innu men, who experienced sexual abuse in childhood.

It includes 12 workshops, a guide, a personal journal, workshops for loved ones and an Innu-aimun glossary. Training on the program, open to all practitioners, is planned for early 2027. Need to talk about it? Call us, it's confidential.
