Hommes Sept-Îles turns 25

A quarter century of mutual support for men and fathers on the Côte-Nord.

It all started on September 23, 1999, around a table, with a few men who wanted a place to talk to each other. Incorporated in 2001, Hommes Sept-Îles grew from a volunteer committee into a permanent team, with a housing resource for fathers and children, groups, training and services offered across the Côte-Nord.

To mark its 25th anniversary, the organization is publishing a commemorative album that tells this story through the voices of the people who built it, and will bring together former board members, staff, volunteers, members and partners for an evening of recognition on November 5, 2026. It will also be a chance to unveil our new brand identity… and the website you're reading right now!
